A T-shirt to contrast even the darkest mood.  Roo Betty knows that wearing certain colours can really start to weave it's magic on you.......Making you feel brighter too!

How do we know that?  Well, it's something we learnt whilst doing our 8 week mindfulness course. Colour Therapy has been the topic of many research papers.  We like to test every theory.  And....we can certainly say that this theory has something in it!

Boost your Mood.

The Colour Grey   is connected with the Moon and it’s reflective qualities. The colour helps you draw negative energy out from the body and replaces it with positive energy.

The science of Colour Therapy is still being theorised and studied, but we just love the idea of feeling different for each colour we wear.

Grey/Gray is the colour of reflection and changes in direction.   Roo Betty has teamed their logo all about talking kindness  with this Zebra pattern to highlight those with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (hEDS is something that is close to Roo Betty’s heart) . It represents those who have fallen through the medical net and their fight to be recognised and acknowledged for their rare disease.

Ehlers Danlos Support UK

Says on their website

“When you hear the sound of hooves, think horses, not zebras.”

This phrase is taught to medical students throughout their training.

In medicine, the term “zebra” is used in reference to a rare disease or condition.  Doctors are taught to assume that the simplest explanation is usually correct to avoid patients being misdiagnosed with rare illnesses.  Doctors learn to expect common conditions.

But many medical professionals seem to forget that “zebras” DO exist and so getting a diagnosis and treatment can be more difficult for sufferers of rare conditions.  Ehlers-Danlos syndrome is considered a rare condition and so EDS sufferers are known as medical zebras.  This identity has now been adopted across the world through social media to help bring our community together.

Grey is Neutral and denotes Balance and Stability.  It inspires Reliability and Maturity and boosts your Intellect.  The Zebra stripes are for those who are #ZebraStrong (We will be in contact with Ehlers Danlos Support UK about donations from the sale of this T-shirt.)

Roo Betty loves to wear Black but when she needs to feel brighter, she reaches for her "Celeste" to spark that JOY!!!
